Software

The below are in addition to software that I wrote directly for my employers.

Bug reports: sendmail
I reported bugs (and in some case tested fixes) for sendmail for releases 8.6.5 (1994-01-13: environment variable HOSTALIASES was being ignored during canonification) and 8.12.3 (2002-04-05: stray xf files left behind under certain circumstances; "-qI" should be case sensitive; problems with moving queue files when queue groups are used).
Fixes: smreject.pl
In October 1997, I cleaned up the code for smreject, a Perl script used to analyze sendmail logs.
Fix: trn
In 1996 I contributed to a patch for a leap year bug in the trn netnews reading program.
X10 interface for 1132B
In October 2004, I wrote a Perl script to speak to the Smarthome Powerlinc model 1132B (serial port model), which issues X10 protocol commands over the house electrical wiring.
